Nothing can be similar compared to trekking in the Himalayas. It is probably one of the ultimate soul-seeking ways of enjoying a vacation amidst the natural splendour. The infamous Brahmatal Lake trekking helps you to gather lifetime experiences from the surrounding beauty. Its incomparable scenic beauty along with the snow-capped hills, are enough to keep you in its awe for the longest time. It is definitely the best winter trekking destination. You will be able to find challenges and adventures at the same time during this time of the year.
ITINERARY
The journey will start after you arrive at Rishikesh. The trek will start in the early morning. Once you arrive at the railway station or the bus stand, you will be picked up. The entire journey on the first day will be for 9 hours. You will travel from Rishikesh to Lohajung, which is approximately 256 km.
On the nine hours of journey, you will be able to find some spectacular views of the surroundings. The blue skies and the green mountains will keep you Captivated. However, if you are going in the winter, the mountains will be covered with snow, and the green sky over you will make the journey more exciting than stressful. You’ll witness some spectacular view points like Dev Prayag, Rudra Prayag etc.
You will reach the destination by afternoon, where you will stay for the night in a guest house. The entire night will be a pleasure with the surreal ambience of the place.
The second-day trek will start after we complete our breakfast. The trip will start from Lohajung and will end at Bekaltal. While you're on the trip, you have to lay your eyes on your surroundings as you will find some stunning views in the wilderness. Whether it is winter or not, the beautiful colours wrapped in the snow make the route feel like a paradise.
On your route, you can enjoy exceptional views of the Nandaghunti peak. So, if you have the photography zeal within you, you can capture this magnificent view of the peak. The trek will commence and let you explore the forest covered with firs and oaks. The entire trek will take around 4 to 5 hours to reach your destination.
Even when you cover a total of 8 km, you will not be able to feel the journey because of the stunning views of the surroundings. This will be the last destination of the day, where you will camp overnight in your tent. The magnificent view of the place will surely keep you entangled with its dreamy look.
Your day will start from Bekaltal after having a sumptuous breakfast. The route will be covered with snow which will take you to the destination. It might be moderately challenging due to the snow-covered route throughout, but the outstanding view of nature and the ambience will keep you lively throughout the trek. It takes 4 hours to complete the track, but the memories you capture will be etched on your heart.
On the trail, you have to cover forests which will be intriguing and intimidating at the same time. However, as you keep on walking, you will soon reach the Telindi top. Take time and make sure that you check the entire surrounding as the enchanting views of the Himalayas are truly extraordinary. The panoramic views surrounding you make the trek a memorable one.
Continue walking until you finally reach Bramhatal Lake. You sure will be stunned by the astounding view of the surroundings. This is the place where we will camp for the day and stay overnight.
Your day will start with the aura of the surroundings. Once you have had your breakfast, our trek to climbing the zenith will start. It can be a tricky pathway as you have to cover some challenging routes. These paths go through Bada Jhandidar and Chota Jhandidar.
The entire trek will keep you surrounded by a mountain ridge. The valleys on both of your sides will keep giving you company. The tricky route will take you around 2.5 hours to reach the zenith of Brahmatal.
The journey will offer you the lifetime opportunity to have a glimpse of some of the famous and much-known Himalayan ranges. While you're on the move, you will find Mount Trishul very close to you, accompanied by the Nandhaghunti. The spectrum of beauty at this destination will keep you in awe. Even reels will fail to capture such nature's magnificence.
The mighty snow-covered Himalayan Ranges look no less than paradise. The accompaniments of the trek will inject a sense of achievement within you. The exotic views are certainly worth a lifetime. From here, you have to keep proceeding to the campsite. It will take another 3 hours to reach Daldum, which is your next campsite located at a distance of 2.7kms.
You will be accompanied by natural beauty and lush forest on your trail. Once you reach your campsite, you are going to enjoy the serenity of the destination. We will stay in tents overnight and enjoy camping under the stars.
It is now time to trek back to Lohajung. The route will be the same that took you to Brahmatal. You will find it even more beautiful while you trek back. A couple of streams will be accompanying you along the journey.
You will also cross the rhododendron and oak forests on your journey. After legging through the journey, you will reach the guest house and which will be the last destination for the day.
So, this is the last day of the trek. With a heavy heart and lots of memories, you have bid a goodbye to the Brahmatal trek. The journey to Rishikesh will start in the early morning. This is where you take back your memories and return to your respective homes.
Depending on the arrival times of your trains, you can stay or shop around. Rishikesh will not disappoint you. The beauty of the far-fetched hills in the distance will help you to recall the entire journey and keep a smiling face.

- 5% GST on trek cost
- Transport to reach Rishikesh from hometown and return

- Any transport support during the trip other than those specified in Inclusions
- Any expenses for medical treatment of injury or accident before, during or after the journey
- Food items purchased by individuals at local canteens on the trek or during the drive
- Any early return travel costs or accommodation except for the days as per the itinerary
- Package excludes porter/mule charges for personal luggage
- Any cost arising due to unforeseen events like bad weather, roadblocks, medical evacuation, etc

Trip Policy
- Booking can be done by online-bank transfer and UPI in company’s account.
- Booking amount is 30% of total trek fee.
- 30 Days or more before date of departure: 30% of total cost.
- 20 days before date of departure: 100% of total cost.
Before departure from starting point(as mentioned in our tour package), if a trip is called off from our side due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rains, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike etc.), full paid amount will be refunded.

Cancellation charges per person
- Cancel before 30 days of trek start date and get refund after deduction of 5% on booking amount
- Cancel before 20 days of trek start date and get refund after deduction of 15% of total trek fee.
- Cancel before 10 days of trek start date and get refund after deduction of 40% of total trek fee.
- Trek fee is non-refundable if you cancel within 9 days before trek start date.
- Trek fee is non-refundable if a trek is called off due to a natural calamity after departure from the starting point.
