Chardham Yatra

Uttarakhand is home to numerous temples and sacred sites. Millions of prilgrims visit this holy land every year. Among the countless religious sites, one of the holiest is the Char Dham Yatra. Yamunotri Dham is located near the source of river Yamuna. This temple is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. Gangotri Dham is located near the source of river Ganga, the most sacred of all Indian rivers. This temple is dedicated to Goddess Ganga. Kedarnath Dham lies before Kedar mountain range and near the source of river Mandakini. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Badrinath is located near the source of Alakananda. This temple is dedicated to Lord Bhisnu.
