After quit his job, Arunava went to Spiti Valley to work as a volunteer for a homestay in Kaza, where he met with Kailash Rana, who used to work as a cook at that homestay. From there, they sheared their ideas with each other to start up a new company. But the plan was delayed by Covid-19 pandemic. After Covid 19 lockdown, they finally started “Detour Adventures” in December, 2020.
